Alabama accepts National Boards, I, II,
III, and IV as prerequisites for the Jurisprudence exam.
Alabama also accepts the following combinations of National Board
exams:
Parts I, II and the SPEC
Parts, I, II and the State examination scores for applicants
attempting Reciprocity.
(You must be currently practicing in the state you seek reciprocity
from and that state must release a copy of the exam subjects and
scores as part of the application
process.)
Doctors who have been
in practice in another state for at least three years with no
disciplinary actions taken against the license may use the National
Board Part I and II and the SPEC for licensure.
